This music video challenges the norms of music videos as Tyler runs through a stream of consciousness and does horrid things for the purpose of art. There are no cuts and the camera is focused on Tyler. He basically tells his story and how he feels about everything. The use of silhouetting is pretty interesting as well.

Television

This show feels like a reality TV show in that it supposedly takes couples through houses to get great deals on them. Unfortunately, the show is fake because it requires that the couples already secure a house beforehand.

Photography: Art vs Not Art

The top photo is from the Civil Rights Movement and documents a moment in time. The bottom photo is a long exposure shot of the stars over the lake solely for the sake of art. Easily, the technicality in taking both pictures differentiates each photo; the top was snapped quickly for the moment whereas in the bottom, the artist took hours setting up the shot.

History of Photography

The invention of the daguerrotype was very important to photography as it presented the first personalized photo that people could keep with them and relish in their narcissism.

Hermeneutics

This quote is placed on a chalkboard denoting a pedagogical approach to teaching the meaning of meaning where the word meaning has many meanings. It is almost satirical.
